1.
FORM AND OBLIVION Untethered, ubiquitous void That rests beyond all worlds Spanning a place before time Deafening empty, sublime No stars burn or do fade here Mind becomes movement, awake Nothing to judge or believe Only itself to deceive Illusion, all it contains Conjuring, matter from nothing Creation suffers its vices To possess and to feed To become an entity Newfound identity Conceive itself, itself it must consume From form to death From soil to breath Over and over again From form to death From soil to breath Over and over again Veiled to the seer That goes without name Becomes believer And lost in its game Searching the noise As a finite point For its own memory From form to death From soil to breath Over, it’s over Now it ends I will not let you pretend It’s gone now, gone You are alone and it’s infinite Create no more Submerge your loneliness Silence, silence Perceive your own nothing No more becoming Over, it’s over

THE DEMON EFFIGY My mind, a wraith within the dark My shell, remote and lifeless rock There is no shape or form Disincarnate There is no peace I felt I thirst for fire yet I shed empty etheric layers I bred into this plane again Bone and blood Death and illness Carnage and chaos born No purpose but to burn Break, crush, I live thus Soul form destroyer All source devoured None can weaken my grip Clarity seen Through knowing madness What God has begun Is flawed and endless Draw down the sun Contain its power What once had begun Must end Must end

about

Beyond Fatal was formed in the late 90s by 4 fellas in their early teens looking to create music that would fall in the more extreme spectrum of music. Over the span of a decade or so Beyond Fatal released 4 albums, experienced a few lineup changes and continued to craft and evolve the sound of the band as they gained experience and vision. The band was very active in the early to mid 2000s and was fortunate enough to play a large quantity of shows with some great local acts as well as some nationally touring bands. The early releases displayed elements of a band trying to carve their sound and with the 2006 album “The Demon Eulogy” on Forever Underground Records and the 2007 album “Universal, Diabolical” on Compton Records the band began to settle into the sound that became synonymous with the project. Beyond Fatal was often labeled as death metal though the lyrical content had little to do with the common themes of that genre. In 2007, life events caused the band to split, seemingly for good. For years after many of the members created music together in different projects, in different genres, and while there were several loose conversations over a few beers of resurrecting the band, nothing ever seemed to materialize. Just 13 short years later, in 2020 the band had commitment from the members from the “Universal, Diabolical” era to create and record new material. Instead of full albums, periodic releases of small batches of songs became the new blueprint. After over a decade of lying dormant, the band has reawakened and it is once again time for the wings of wrath to spread.
We would like to offer a cheap whisky in a glass “cheers” and a thank you to everybody that has supported the band, past members of the band, artists, engineers, promoters, etc. for showing us some love. Hell, 2006 era Adam would probably even tip his cowboy hat to you.
